Tamrat has shown his works in Egypt, Spain, Germany, England, Sweden, Norway, Pakistan, The Netherlands, Marocco, South Africa, the UAE and the USA.
Tamrat’s work as an artist ranges from being a landscape and portrait painter to his relentless studio practice and experimentation, as well as installation and performance. Currently his enthusiastic research on indigenous knowledge inculcates his meditations.
Tamrat believes that an artists’ endeavor is almost like an enlightened one who enables the culture, the societal knowledge and the aura of the society to be the counterpart of the life that one lives. He aspires for his art to be part of the journey that the society travels through.
